NAIC, Cavite — The National Bureau of Investigation has arrested a 44-year-old man accused of illegally recruiting overseas job applicants and sexually assaulting them.
Agents caught the suspect inside a room with one of his potential victims.
At the NBI Cavite office, one of his previous victims punched him upon seeing him, authorities said.
Investigators said the suspect allegedly recruited mechanics and massage therapists through social media, demanding a P20,000 placement fee.
His scheme reportedly included forcing applicants into “one-on-one sessions” with him.
The NBI said charges are being prepared as the investigation continues.
