Rosario Day Bill Declaring Annual Special Working Holiday Approved in Senate

Cavite – The Senate has approved House Bill No. 2868, which seeks to declare October 22 of every year as a special working holiday in the municipality of Rosario, Cavite, in celebration of its founding anniversary.

The bill, authored and sponsored by Cavite 1st District Rep. Jolo Revilla, aims to honor the economic contributions of Rosario not only to the province but to the country as a whole.

“This is our way of recognizing the vital role that the municipality of Rosario plays in economic development,” Revilla said in a Facebook post. “It also reflects our unwavering support for the advancement of the fishing and tinapa-making industries, which serve as the main livelihood for many of our residents.”

Revilla assured constituents that he will continue pushing for programs and legislation aimed at boosting livelihood, employment, and tourism in the district.

“Long live the municipality of Rosario and the First District of Cavite!” he added.
