Police arrested a suspected drug dealer during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Panamitan, Kawit, Cavite, authorities said .ǰ
The suspect, identified only by the alias “Malaysian,” was apprehended at around 10:45 pm last week after allegedly selling a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover operative, the Kawit Municipal Police Station said in a statement.
The operation was conducted by the station’s Drug Enforcement Unit and intelligence operatives, led by PCpt. Ernesto G. Monasterial II, under the supervision of PLtCol. Socrates S. Jaca, and in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 4A.
The suspect, a resident of Barangay Maliksi 2, Bacoor City, Cavite, was informed of his rights under the Miranda Doctrine and taken to the Kawit Municipal Police Station for documentation and legal proceedings.
Police said they remain committed to intensifying their campaign against illegal drugs and other forms of criminality.
