The Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) has continued to empower women across the province through its Women’s Welfare Program (WWP), with thousands of beneficiaries receiving financial assistance in recent events.

From January 21 to 23, 2025, the program, spearheaded by Governor Athena Bryana D. Tolentino, reached some 2,000 women in the cities of Dasmariñas, Carmona, Imus, and the municipalities of General Emilio Aguinaldo (Bailen) and Alfonso, covering districts 3, 4, 5, and 8.

Each beneficiary received 2,000 pesos in financial assistance, underscoring the provincial government’s commitment to improving the welfare of women and their families.

Since its launch on November 15, 2024, the program has benefited a total of 85,000 women across Cavite, demonstrating its significant impact on the community.

The program’s success has been strengthened by the active involvement of local officials and provincial representatives, including district representatives and board members, who have joined Governor Tolentino in various events.

The governor highlighted the program’s vital role in enhancing the quality of life for women and their families, reaffirming the provincial government’s commitment to supporting women as essential pillars of their communities.

The Women’s Welfare Program is part of the PGC’s efforts to promote inclusive development, providing financial assistance and a platform for women to flourish and contribute to their communities.

With its continued implementation, the program remains a cornerstone of hope and empowerment for countless women across the province.
