“Basag-Kotse Gang” Strikes in Cavite, Steals from Businesswoman’s Vehicle

SILANG, CAVITE – A female businesswoman’s cellphone and cash were stolen after members of the notorious “Basag-Kotse Gang” smashed the window of her vehicle while it was parked at a fast food chain in Barangay Biga, Silang, Cavite recently.

According to the report, the incident occurred at 8:28 p.m. when the victim arrived at the restaurant’s parking area driving her Ford Ranger pick-up.

The victim left the vehicle in the parking area and entered the restaurant to dine.

Minutes later, the vehicle’s alarm sounded, prompting the security guard on duty to alert the victim.

Upon checking the vehicle, they discovered that the left window was shattered and the victim’s shoulder bag, containing her cash and cellphone, was missing.

Authorities have identified the suspect in the crime.
