CPD Calabarzon Celebrates World Population Day in Cavite

TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Philippines — The Commission on Population and Development Calabarzon, in partnership with the Cavite Office of the Population Officer, celebrated World Population Day on July 12, 2024.

This year’s global theme is “Embracing the Power of Inclusive Data Towards a Resilient and Equitable Future for All.”

The event, held at the ceremonial hall of the Provincial Capitol, showcased Cavite’s good practices in integrating population and development into program planning and policy-making.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing, Cavite is the most populous province in the country.
