Student Fatally Falls Into Septic Tank at Alfonso, Cavite School

A tragic incident occurred in Alfonso, Cavite, where a student lost their life and three other classmates were injured after falling into a septic tank at their school.

According to the Alfonso Police report, four young female students were having lunch on a concrete bench situated above the septic tank at Sinaliw Malaki Elementary School when it suddenly collapsed.

The victims, along with the bench they were sitting on, fell into the pit.

Emergency responders promptly rescued the four students and rushed them to the hospital, but unfortunately, one of the victims, a 12-year-old grade 5 student, was declared dead on arrival.

As of now, it remains uncertain whether the victim’s family will file a complaint, and the school has not issued an official statement yet.
