The Land Registration Authority (LRA) and the city government of Bacoor, Cavite have entered into an agreement aimed at accelerating the land title registration process for residents.

Earlier today, Bacoor City Mayor Strike Revilla and LRA Administrator Atty. Gerardo Panga Sirios signed a Memorandum of Agreement during the Bacoor LGU’s flag ceremony at the Strike Gymnasium.

The MOA stipulates the integration of the LRA’s digital system with the management operations of the Bacoor LGU. It also includes training for local government staff on new land registration protocols and the launch of a public awareness campaign to help the public understand the new process for title processing.

According to Revilla, the goal of the agreement is to utilize modern technology and regulatory support for faster and more efficient land title registration in the city.

“This MOA with the LRA represents a pivotal move towards modernizing our land registration processes. It is crucial for our administration to provide transparent and efficient services to the people of Bacoor. We are committed to ensuring that property transactions are conducted smoothly, benefiting all stakeholders involved,” the mayor added.

In addition to the MOA signing, other activities were also held during the Bacoor LGU’s flag ceremony. These included the provision of P60,000 in financial assistance for the Sports Activity of the BJMP. Brgy. Molino 4 was also honored as a drug-cleared barangay.
