In a remarkable display of community healthcare, Barangay Medina in Magallanes, Cavite was the epicentre of a successful health outreach event on April 19, 2024.
The event, which was orchestrated by the Office of the Provincial Governor’s medical and dental mission team in collaboration with the Office of the Provincial Health Officer (OPHO), brought vital medical services to approximately 300 recipients. The initiative was designed to enhance the community’s well-being by making healthcare services readily available.
The mission provided a comprehensive suite of services, encompassing detailed medical and dental examinations, tooth extractions, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and the dispensation of prescribed medications.
These services were instrumental in addressing a variety of health issues and fostering preventive care among the residents.
The success of the mission was ensured by the pivotal role played by Magallanes Mayor Jasmin Maligaya-Bautista and other local officials.
Their presence and backing underscored a mutual commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility for all constituents. During the event, Mayor Maligaya-Bautista and the officials conveyed their sincere appreciation to the provincial government and the medical and dental team for their unwavering dedication to serving their constituents.
