Bacoor Mayor Strike B. Revilla recently embarked on a journey to Japan, an experience he described as “enlightening” and focused on shaping a more resilient Bacoor.
The trip was centered around a comprehensive examination of state-of-the-art flood mitigation strategies and retarding basin systems.
“I had the privilege of engaging in a comprehensive examination of state-of-the-art flood mitigation strategies and retarding basin systems,” Revilla said, reflecting on his journey. The trip was not just about learning, but also about collaboration with respected colleagues and leaders, he added.
Among the leaders accompanying Revilla were Governor Jonvic Remulla, Mayor Alex Advincula of Imus, Mayor Luis Ferrer IV of General Trias, Mayor Angelo Emilio Aguinaldo of Kawit, Mayor Dino Carlo Chua of Noveleta, and Mayor Denver Christopher Chua of Cavite.
Revilla expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate and learn from the best.
“Together, we are building a stronger, more secure future for our city,” he stated, emphasizing the collective effort towards a resilient Bacoor.
The trip signifies a step forward in the city’s commitment to implementing advanced strategies for flood mitigation and building a secure future for its residents, Revilla noted.
