In a decisive move to combat criminal activities, the Kawit Municipal Police Station, under the supervision of PLTCOL Richard D Corpuz, successfully conducted a buy-bust operation last Thursday.

The operation, which took place at approximately 8:20 PM in Brgy. Toclong, Kawit, Cavite, led to the arrest of an individual known as “Bay” from Caloocan City.

The suspect was caught selling a small sachet of suspected Shabu, a violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of RA 9165.

Following the arrest, the suspect was informed of his constitutional rights under the Miranda Doctrine in a language he understood. He was then taken to the Kawit Municipal Police Station for further documentation and appropriate legal action.
