The 20 official candidates for the Binibining GenTri 2024 beauty pageant received their sashes and shoes at a ceremony held at the City Park Pavilion on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

The event was attended by local officials, barangay leaders, pageant personalities, and supporters of the candidates. Ms. Monette Ferrer, the chairperson of the pageant, delivered a message of gratitude and encouragement to the participants.

The candidates also met the official designer of the pageant, Carl Arcusa, and the swimwear designer, Domz Ramos of DR Swim. Ramos has been designing swimwear for Binibining Pilipinas for a long time and was chosen to do the same for Binibining GenTri this year.

The candidates also received new footwear from Bragais Shoes, which was granted by the Local Government Unit of General Trias under the leadership of Mayor Jon Ferrer. The shoes will serve as the official footwear for the competition.

The pageant aims to showcase the beauty and talent of the women of General Trias, as well as to promote the city’s culture and tourism. The slogan of the pageant is “Gandang GenTri, Galing GenTri.”

The next event of the pageant will be the Runway Fashion Show, which will take place on March 15 at Robinsons Mall. The Coronation Night will be held on April 12 at the Convention Center.
