The City of Imus Tourism and Heritage Office (CTHO) is calling all aspiring gay beauties from the city to join the open screening for Reyna ng Turismo Cavite, a province-wide pageant that aims to boost the tourism of Cavite and empower the LGBTQIA+ community.

The open screening will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the City of Imus Youth Center, located at the Imus Pilot Elementary School. Interested applicants must be at least 18 years old, a resident of Imus City, and possess beauty, intelligence, and grace.

Reyna ng Turismo Cavite is not your ordinary beauty pageant, as it showcases the hidden gems of every city and municipality in Cavite, with LGBTQIA+ individuals demonstrating their talents and skills. The winner will be able to star in a mini-travel series on YouTube, serving as a promotional channel for Cavite’s tourism.

Cavite has always been a popular tourist destination because of its historical significance, as it played a crucial role in shaping the country’s history from the revolutionary war to the Declaration of Philippine Independence. But aside from that, Cavite is also home to stunning natural landscapes, gorgeous beaches, and delicious local delicacies.

The pageant is supported by various sponsors, such as Knights Templar Ridge Hotel, Papa Bolo, and The Grandmaster Hotel. The official candidates for the pageant will be revealed in April 2024, at the sashing ceremony and media day, to be held at the Knights Templar Ridge Hotel in Tagaytay City.

For more information about the pageant and the screening, visit the official Facebook page of Reyna ng Turismo Cavite or the official website of the City of Imus. You can also contact the CTHO at telephone no. (046) 418-6139. Don’t miss this chance to be part of this remarkable event that celebrates the beauty and tourism of Cavite and the advocacy of the LGBTQIA+ community.
