A group of thieves, believed to be members of the notorious Salisi Gang, broke into a house in Dasmariñas, Cavite last night, January 29, 2024.

The incident was caught on CCTV and posted on Facebook by the homeowner, Arlyn Camantigue Payot.

According to Payot, the robbery happened while she and her family were sleeping soundly.

CCTV footage showed that the thieves entered the house through an unlocked door and ransacked the living room, kitchen, and bedrooms.

They took cash, jewelry, gadgets, and other valuables worth P52,000.

Payot said she was shocked and scared when she discovered the burglary the next morning.

She immediately reported the incident to the police and shared the video online to warn other residents and help identify the suspects.

The police said they are conducting an investigation and pursuing the culprits, who are suspected to be part of the Salisi Gang, a notorious group of robbers who target unsuspecting victims in public places and private residences.

The police also advised the public to be vigilant and secure their homes and belongings.
