In a bid to foster an entrepreneurial culture among youth, the Cavite Entrepreneurship Students Caravan was held on March 14, 2024, at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Maragondon Campus. Organized by the Office of the Provincial Cooperative Development Officer (OPCDO), the event themed “Entrepreneurial Mindset: The First Step Towards Success,” drew in a vibrant group of students from various business and entrepreneurship programs.

The day-long event was inaugurated by Ms. Liza Gabatan, Head of OPCDO’s Entrepreneurial Division, who emphasized the importance of an entrepreneurial mindset for success. Engr. Rosalia Pinlac, Head of PUP’s Academic Program, also addressed the attendees, underscoring the value of innovation and strategic thinking.

A highlight of the caravan was the insightful lecture by Mr. Joey P. Espiritu, a renowned entrepreneur and CEO of multiple successful businesses. He shared his journey and the lessons learned, inspiring students to embrace resilience and creativity in their entrepreneurial pursuits.

The caravan concluded with students feeling motivated and equipped with the knowledge to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys, marking the event as a significant step towards cultivating the next generation of business innovators.
