TANZA, CAVITE — The Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) successfully conducted on April 3, 2024 a medical mission at the Brgy. Calibuyo covered court, offering a range of healthcare services to the local community. The mission, a collaborative effort between the PGC medical team, the Office of the Provincial Governor, and the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (GEAMH), alongside the Rural Health Unit of Tanza, served 475 residents.

The healthcare services provided included 32 electrocardiograms (ECG) and 17 x-ray examinations, essential in detecting and preventing serious health conditions. Esteemed local officials, including Municipal Councilor Derek Matro and Alexis Dones, were present to support and acknowledge the mission’s vital role in enhancing community health.

Contributions from Punong Barangay Jesus E. Aquino, the barangay council, and the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), led by Chairperson Joepert Job A. Mintu, were instrumental in the mission’s success. The event also saw active participation from Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), who assisted in various capacities.

The medical mission went beyond consultations, offering free eye check-ups and distributing essential medicines and mosquito repellent lotion, further demonstrating PGC’s commitment to public health and well-being.
