BACOOR CITY, Cavite — This city held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new Women’s Center Building and a blessing for new Intensive Care Unit, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and CT scan facilities, led by Rep. Lani Mercado Revilla.
Revilla said access to a nearby hospital with adequate facilities, modern equipment and reliable services is a priority because health is a basic need for every family.
The Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital plays a major role in the region. Under Republic Act 12213, a law authored by Revilla, the hospital’s bed capacity will increase from 100 to 300.
The new facilities will allow more patients to receive the care they need in Bacoor without having to travel far for specialized medical services, according to Revilla.
“We are deeply grateful for these concrete services for the people of Bacoor and our neighbors in nearby provinces. Thank you also to the Department of Health, the Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital, our local officials and everyone who partnered with us on this project,” Revilla said.
