General Trias City, Cavite – The General Trias Component City Police Station, in coordination with the City Government of General Trias, will hold a two-day firearms licensing and registration caravan on March 5 and 6, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the City Park, Brgy. San Juan I, Gen. Trias City.

The caravan aims to provide convenient and accessible services to the residents of General Trias City who wish to apply for or renew their License to Own and Possess Firearm (LTOPF), firearms registration, or provisional LTOPF. The caravan will also offer neuro-psychiatric exam, drug test, and national police clearance, which are required for the LTOPF application.

The caravan will accommodate 100 applicants per day on a first come, first serve basis. Applicants are advised to go to the Gen. Trias Police Station for pre-registration before March 5, 2024, and to register online using the link https://www.feo-pnp.gov.ph. Applicants are also reminded to bring the necessary documents and fees, and to observe the health and safety protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The firearms licensing and registration caravan is part of the efforts of the General Trias Component City Police Station and the City Government of General Trias to promote responsible gun ownership, prevent illegal possession and use of firearms, and maintain peace and order in the city.

“Let’s join forces for a safe and orderly city of General Trias,” said Police Colonel Juan Dela Cruz, the chief of the General Trias Component City Police Station.
