IMUS CITY — Maynilad Water Services, Inc. formally turned over 16 drinking fountains to the Imus city government on June 23, providing students and residents with free access to clean drinking water.
Mayor Alex Advincula immediately deployed five of the units to Imus National High School, where Principal Petronia N. Tarun received them on behalf of the school.
Advincula and Officer-in-Charge Schools Division Superintendent Lito Palomar accepted the donation in a formal ceremony alongside Maynilad Chief Operating Officer Christopher Jaime T. Lichauco, who signed the turnover agreement.
The remaining 11 drinking fountains are set to be installed in other public schools across the city.
