SILANG, Cavite — The Philippine National Police Academy formally inaugurated two new facilities, Lakan Dormitory 3 and a Forensic Science Building, aimed at providing cadets with improved housing and modern training resources.
Acting PNPA Director Redrico A. Maranan led the ribbon-cutting ceremony and unveiling of the marker marking the official opening of the two buildings.
According to academy officials, Lakan Dormitory 3 was built to ensure cadets have safe, comfortable, and well-maintained accommodations as they undergo rigorous training to become future police officers.
The new Forensic Science Building, meanwhile, is intended to expand cadets’ knowledge of modern investigative techniques, strengthening scientific and evidence-based learning to better prepare students for the demands of contemporary law enforcement.
Academy officials described the two facilities as more than just new structures, calling them a reflection of PNPA’s continuing effort to produce disciplined, competent, and dedicated officers ready to serve the public.
PNPA said projects like these are expected to further improve the quality of education, training, and welfare for cadets as the academy continues to develop.
