NAIC, Cavite — Two drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation here, with authorities seizing about 500 grams of suspected shabu worth an estimated P3.4 million pesos.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Cavite Provincial Office, in coordination with the Cavite Maritime Police, identified the suspects as Larry, 57, and Elwood, 27, both residents of Barangay Halang in Naic.
The operation was carried out at around 6:18 p.m. two days earlier, according to a report from PDEA.
Agents recovered a transparent plastic bag containing 100 grams of shabu, the subject of the buy-bust transaction, along with four additional plastic bags containing a combined 400 grams of the drug.
A cellphone allegedly used by the suspects in the transaction was also confiscated.
The suspects are now in custody as authorities prepare to file charges.
