KAWIT, Cavite — As temperatures climb during the El Niño season, Water Camp Resort in this Cavite town is positioning itself as a go-to destination for families seeking relief from the heat, offering six swimming pools, a wave pool dating back to 1967, and newly launched accommodations called Fiesta Rooms.

Located along Magdiwang Highway in Josephine Village, Panamitan, the resort has long been known locally for its wave pool, one of the area’s longest-running attractions. Management is now promoting the property’s expanded amenities as a budget-friendly option for visitors looking to beat the summer-like conditions brought on by the dry weather pattern.

The resort’s main draw remains its six pools, which include a slide and dunk pool, an adults-only pool, an interactive pool for children, a lazy river, a wave pool, and a “rave pool.” Aqua Zumba sessions are also offered for guests looking for a more active experience in the water.

The newly introduced Fiesta Rooms come equipped with air conditioning, a private bathroom with hot and cold shower, a smart TV, an intercom, a microwave, an electric kettle, a mini refrigerator, complimentary coffee and tea, and a private balcony overlooking the pools.

Beyond the pools, the resort offers cottages, a private villa, hotel rooms, grilling areas, a washing area, table and chair rentals, and wide parking space. On-site food and retail options include the Wave Shop store, a coffee shop, and the Little Josephine takeout counter.

Resort management said the facility continues to serve as a popular weekend and holiday destination for families in Cavite and nearby provinces, particularly during the hot months when demand for swimming venues rises.

For reservations and inquiries, guests may contact the resort through its Cavite line at (046) 484-5703 to 05, its Manila lines at (02) 8404-9911 or (02) 8404-9977, or its mobile numbers at 0917-505-0676 and 0998-548-4100. The resort can also be reached via email at [email protected].
