TANZA, Cavite — A hundred calamansi trees were planted at Camp Riego de Dios on April 1, 2026, in a tree-growing event led by the Provincial Task Force-Cavite.
The activity, held in partnership with GENCYS Group of Companies, was headed by Col. Roberto Q. Beatisula and a representative of TSg Jelden L. Defensor.
The task force said the planting is part of its Social Responsibility Program and the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ Camp Greening Program. The initiative aims to strengthen community ties, promote environmental protection and support the province’s food security.
“Through small steps like this, we are gradually achieving a cleaner and safer environment,” the group said.
