The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) led by Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. launched the KALINISAN (Kalinga at Inisyatiba para sa Malinis na Bayan) Program in the town of Kawit on Saturday, February 24, 2024.
The program is a partnership among various agencies that attended the event, including the local government unit of Kawit headed by Mayor Angelo Emilio G. Aguinaldo.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Kawit Fire Station under the leadership of Municipal Fire Marshal FCINSP Alexander Dale Q Baena and the BFP Calabarzon also participated in the activity. They were joined by the Regional Chief of Staff FSSUPT Shiela C. Andrade and the Deputy Provincial Director FSUPT Ronnie R. Benedicto.
The aim of the program is to protect the health of the environment and the community and to create a better community environment.
The program encourages the residents to practice cleanliness in their surroundings for a cleaner and more orderly town of Kawit.
