DASMARIÑAS, Cavite — The Paliparan-GMA Bypass Road is set to open soon, marking a significant step forward in improving connectivity across Cavite province.
The completed segment runs from Bacoor-Dasmariñas Road, formerly known as Molino-Paliparan Road, and connects to the westbound bridge leading to Mayor’s Drive in General Mariano Alvarez. The bypass forms part of the larger Dasmariñas-GMA-Carmona Diversion Road.
Beginning at Bacoor-Dasmariñas Road in Dasmariñas, the route traverses General Mariano Alvarez and extends toward Governor’s Drive in Carmona.
The section between Bacoor-Dasmariñas Road and Mayor’s Drive is nearing completion, while construction is already underway on the Carmona-bound segment.
Once completed, the road will serve as an alternative to Governor’s Drive, providing access to the eastern parts of the province.
Officials say the full road network is expected to ease traffic congestion, improve road safety and promote faster travel among the urban centers it connects.
The project is also expected to stimulate economic activity, improve access to markets and essential services, and attract investment to the province.
