CARMONA, Cavite — Construction has begun on Carmona Garden Suites, a 158-room hotel project in Cavite province that developers say reflects growing investor confidence in Calabarzon.
The garden-style hotel broke ground in Barangay Mabuhay within First Global Technopark and is scheduled for completion in 2028, according to local officials.
The facility will include multi-purpose spaces capable of hosting up to 500 guests.
Officials at the groundbreaking ceremony highlighted Carmona’s emergence as a development hub in Southern Luzon, citing more than 400 export-oriented factories operating in the city alongside expanding commercial districts.
The hotel, operated by Swiss-Belhotel, is designed to serve business and leisure travelers. Developers expect the project to create jobs, support local businesses and provide accommodations for international and domestic visitors.
Government leaders, tourism stakeholders and diplomatic representatives attended the ceremony.
