TAGAYTAY, Cavite – South Korean coffee chain Tom N Toms will open its newest Philippine branch in Tagaytay City on Friday, offering patrons a direct view of Taal Volcano, the company announced on Thursday.
The cafe, located at Mendez Crossing, marks the brand’s continued expansion in the Philippines and capitalizes on Tagaytay’s status as a popular tourist destination renowned for its cooler climate and volcanic vista.
A company representative stated that the first 100 customers on December 5, 2025 will receive complimentary hot or cold drinks to celebrate the grand opening. The outlet will feature a modern “Korean coffee shop” interior and an AI-powered photobooth offering digital image transformations.
The menu will blend Korean-inspired coffee and pastries with Western items like pizza and pasta, including unique offerings such as Bulgogi Pretzels and Corn Cream Pizza. The location will operate until 1:00 AM daily.
The opening highlights the sustained growth of South Korean food and beverage brands within the Philippine market, appealing to local consumers’ increasing affinity for Korean culture. Tagaytay’s tourism sector, recovering from pandemic-era restrictions and previous volcanic activity, continues to attract new investment in leisure and dining.
Tom N Toms, known for its baked goods and coffee, operates numerous outlets across Asia. The Tagaytay branch aims to attract both local residents and weekend tourists from Metro Manila, located approximately 60 kilometers north.
