BACOOR, Cavite — The Bacoor city government is reviewing preliminary data from the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) to help shape future social programs and resource allocation.

The data review session, held Thursday at Strike Multipurpose Hall, was led by the City Planning and Development Coordinating Office in partnership with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

Mayor Strike B. Revilla cited the data’s role in understanding the specific needs of residents. “This data will serve as a basis for future programs of the city government and, hopefully, for the national government as well,” Revilla said.

Officials from PSA Cavite presented the initial findings, which included geotagged information. The city stated that geotagging the data allows for more accurate mapping, spatial analysis and targeted resource allocation. It also aids in project monitoring and disaster preparedness.

The session included an open forum with representatives from various city departments, including social welfare, education, agriculture, and disaster risk reduction.
