Female Drug Pusher Arrested in Samala-Marquez, Kawit

Police in Kawit, Cavite arrested a suspected drug personality during a buy-bust operation conducted late last week, authorities said Monday.

Alias “Hala,” a resident of Barangay Aplaya, was apprehended around 5:00 p.m. on May 29, 2025 in Barangay Samala-Marquez after allegedly selling a sachet of suspected crystal methamphetamine, or “shabu,” to an undercover operative, the Kawit Municipal Police Station said in a statement.

The operation was carried out by the station’s Drugs Enforcement Unit and intelligence operatives, led by PCpt. Ernesto G. Monasterial II and under the direct supervision of PLtCol. Socrates S. Jaca, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 4A.

The suspect was informed of her constitutional rights in a language he understood and was brought to the Kawit police station for documentation and further legal processing.

Charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the suspect.

“The Kawit Municipal Police Station remains firm in its commitment to rid the community of all forms of criminality,” Jaca said in the statement. “This operation serves as a warning that involvement in illegal drugs will not be tolerated.”
