A man-made lake in Dasmariñas, Cavite, is drawing attention as the centrepiece of a new residential project by Sta. Lucia Land Inc.
Known as The Lake at St. Charbel, the development is located along Congressional Avenue Extension, roughly one kilometre from the city centre.
The gated community is strategically positioned near key transport links, including Governor’s Drive, Aguinaldo Highway and Molino–Paliparan Road, as well as schools and commercial areas.
The master-planned estate is designed to offer a tranquil lifestyle within city limits.
At its core is the artificial lake, which features recreational options such as kayaking, picnicking on a small island, and community events at a clubhouse.
The surrounding landscape includes green spaces and residential and commercial plots.
Although the site is a private development, the lake is currently accessible to the public, with construction on homes yet to begin. However, access is expected to be limited to residents once the project advances.
