A passenger-carrying bus, named “Heartbeat”, has overturned in floodwaters in Barangay San Rafael I, Noveleta, Cavite.
According to reports, the driver attempted to navigate the vehicle through the flooded area but was unable to withstand the strong current.
Fortunately, several passengers had already disembarked before the bus overturned.
Some of those on board have taken shelter in a nearby Aglipay church, awaiting rescue.
No injuries have been reported in the incident.
The incident reflects the challenges posed by severe flooding in the country due to Storm Kristine, which has affected several areas in Cavite.
