The Philippine government has suspended work in government offices and classes at all levels in Luzon on Oct. 23, 2024 due to inclement weather brought by Tropical Storm “Kristine.”
The suspension, however, does not apply to agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services, which will continue to operate.
Private companies and offices are left to decide on their own whether to suspend work.
The announcement was made by the Office of the Executive Secretary.
The suspension comes as Tropical Storm “Kristine” affects the entire country, particularly the island of Luzon.
