Imus City Task Force Continues Road Clearing and Clamping Operations

The City of Imus Task Force (CITF) has been conducting regular road clearing and clamping operations from Monday, January 22, to Sunday, January 28, in compliance with the revised Road Clearing Ordinance of the City of Imus and the Traffic Code of the City of Imus.

The ordinance and the code prohibit any type of vehicles and structures that obstruct public roads and sidewalks in Imus. Vehicles that violate this rule will be clamped and the owners will receive a Violation Form.

To redeem their vehicles, they can coordinate with the offices of the CITF. These are located at the 4th floor, Imus City Government Center, Brgy. Malagasang 1-G and at the Old Sangguniang Panlungsod Building, Brgy. Poblacion 4-B.

Clamped vehicles can be redeemed from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Do not forget to bring the Violation Form and prepare the corresponding fine according to the type of vehicle:

– Motorcycles, e-bicycles, tricycles, and e-tricycles (2 to 3 wheels) – P500.00

– Light motor vehicles (4 wheels) – P2,000.00

– Medium motor vehicles (6 wheels) – P3,000.00

– Heavy motor vehicles (8 to 10 wheels) – P4,000.00

– Super heavy motor vehicles (12 to 20 wheels) – P5,000.00

The City Government of Imus reminds the public to follow the road clearing ordinance of Imus. It states that nothing or no structure should block the public passages of people and traffic.
