In another crackdown on drug-related offenses, Kawit Municipal Police Station, under the leadership of Chief of Police PLTCOL Richard D. Corpuz, successfully apprehended a suspect known as “Joshua” for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the Anti-Gambling Law.

The arrest occurred last week during a coordinated buy-bust operation with PDEA-4A in Brgy. Marulas, Kawit, Cavite.

The suspect, from Bacoor City, was caught selling a sachet of suspected methamphetamine, commonly known as “Shabu,” along with gambling paraphernalia.

The police ensured the suspect’s rights were respected throughout the arrest process.

This operation is part of an ongoing effort to eliminate criminal activities and serves as a stern warning against illegal drug involvement.
