The Kawit Municipal Police Station has intensified its campaign against criminal activity, aiming to prevent and eradicate crimes within the community.
In a recent operation conducted on May 29, 2024, at approximately 9:50 PM, the Drugs Enforcement Unit and Intel Operatives, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL Richard D Corpuz, COP, collaborated with the PDEA-4A to carry out an anti-illegal drug (buy-bust) operation in Barangay Tabon 1, Kawit, Cavite.
During the operation, alias “Jay-R,” a resident of Barangay Tabon I, Kawit, Cavite, was apprehended after selling a small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected “Shabu.”
The suspect was promptly informed of their constitutional rights under the Miranda Doctrine in a language familiar to them. Subsequently, they were taken to the Kawit Municipal Police Station for documentation.
