Dasmariñas, Cavite: A man considered to be one of the region’s most wanted was arrested in a joint operation by the Dasmariñas City Police Station and the RIU NCR IG – SDIT on April 26, 2024, at around 5:10 PM in Barangay Paliparan 3, Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

The suspect, identified as Edmond, 35, a construction worker born on January 17, 1989, in Pasay City, was apprehended at his residence in Barangay Paliparan 3. The operation was part of an intensified effort by the Dasmariñas City Police Station to ensure a secure and safe environment in the city.

The arrest was properly documented using a Body Worn Camera (BWC) or an Alternative Recording Device (ARD). The operation was conducted under the direct supervision of PMAJ Glen Lyca G Gevero and falls under the Alternative Information Report Number Police Regional Office 4A.

Edmond was arrested under criminal case number DC-15576-23, issued and signed by Honorable Josielyn Lara De Luna, Presiding Judge, Branch 129, Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Dasmariñas City, dated March 14, 2023, for the crime of murder (RPC ART.248). No bail has been recommended.

The operation was overseen by PLTCOL Julius Baybado Balano, OIC of Dasmariñas CPS, with PLT Maribel Sorilla serving as the action officer.
