SILANG, Cavite — A 15-year-old boy allegedly stabbed another minor to death in Silang, Cavite, and reportedly fled with his mother after the incident, authorities said.
According to initial police reports, the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival due to multiple stab wounds.
Witnesses told investigators that the suspect and his mother fled their home shortly after the attack.
Relatives of the victim believe the mother may have helped her son escape to evade arrest.
Police said the mother could face obstruction of justice charges, while the 15-year-old suspect will be placed under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) once apprehended.
The victim’s family has called for justice and urged authorities to expedite the arrest of the suspect.
