TAGAYTAY — Suspected members of the so-called “Vault Cutter Gang” looted a vape shop in Tagaytay City, Cavite, taking more than P237,000 worth of merchandise and cash, police said Friday.
Investigators said the burglary at One Vape in Barangay Maharlika East was discovered around 6:20 a.m. Thursday by a store employee who reviewed CCTV footage.
The employee, identified only as Kath, 35, noticed that the shop’s interior had been disturbed and display items were missing.
Police said the suspects cut the padlock of the store’s roll-up door with a vault cutter before taking vape products and cash totaling P237,770.
The suspects fled on a black motorcycle, authorities said.
Police said they are pursuing leads to identify and arrest the two suspects.
