BACOOR CITY, Cavite — Police arrested a man and seized about PHP90,000 worth of high-grade marijuana during a buy-bust operation Saturday night in Barangay Zapote 1.
The suspect, identified as Winzlei, a resident of the barangay, was caught with four sachets of suspected “kush” weighing about 60 grams, along with marked money, Bacoor police chief Lt. Col. Alexie Desamito said Sunday.
The seized drugs were turned over to the Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit for laboratory testing, while the suspect remains in police custody for inquest proceedings.
Cavite police acting director Col. Ariel Red said the operation shows their commitment to the campaign against illegal drugs.
