CARMONA CITY, Cavite — A 6-year-old girl was killed and her parents were critically injured after a truck struck their motorcycle in Carmona City, Cavite, police said Monday.
The victim, identified as Sophia Blythe Cleofe, a resident of Barangay Mabuhay, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her parents, whose names were not released, were rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
According to investigators, the family was traveling along Governor’s Drive in Barangay Bancal when a Sinotruk Howo truck veered into their lane, striking their motorcycle.
The impact caused the motorcycle to crash, and the truck ran over the family.
Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
