KAWIT, Cavite — Police arrested a suspected drug personality during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Toclong, Kawit, Cavite, on August 1, 2025, authorities said Monday.
The suspect, identified only as “Mar,” a resident of Imus City, was caught selling a sachet of suspected shabu, according to Kawit police. The operation was led by the town’s Drug Enforcement Unit in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 4A.
Police said the suspect was informed of his rights and is now in custody for charges under Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
Kawit police vowed to continue its campaign against illegal drugs and other crimes.
