CAVITE — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued a Red Rainfall Warning for the entire province of Cavite at 2:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2025 due to intense rains brought by the enhanced southwest monsoon.

Continuous and heavy downpours are expected, which may cause flash floods, landslides, and rising river levels, particularly in low-lying areas.

Residents are advised to remain alert and heed warnings from local authorities. PAGASA urged those living in flood- and landslide-prone communities to evacuate immediately if necessary.

The public is also advised to avoid traveling in flooded areas, keep communication lines open, and follow instructions from barangay officials.
