Three High-Value Drug Suspects Nabbed in Cavite Buy-Bust; ₱20-M Shabu Seized

Authorities arrested three alleged high-value drug targets and seized over P20 million worth of suspected crystal meth in a buy-bust operation early Saturday, police said.

The suspects — identified only by their aliases “Dave,” 47, of Naic, Cavite; “Cho,” 47, a Chinese national residing in Pasay City; and “Shai,” 25, of Tanza, Cavite — were apprehended during a sting operation around 4 a.m. in Barangay Zapote 3, Bacoor City.

The Bacoor police Drug Enforcement Unit confiscated approximately 3 kilograms of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P20.4 million, according to standard drug pricing.

Officers also recovered drug paraphernalia, marked money, two vehicles, a mobile phone, an ID card, and several small firearms from the suspects.

Brig. Gen. Jack L. Wanky, regional director of Police Regional Office 4A, said the operation is part of the intensified campaign against illegal drugs in CALABARZON.

“We will not stop until those poisoning our communities are brought to justice,” Wanky said. “With the continued support of the public, we will persist in our operations to dismantle drug networks in the region.”

Authorities are investigating possible links between the suspects and larger drug syndicates. All three are in the custody of Bacoor City Police Station as charges are being prepared.
