KAWIT, Cavite — Aerial images of the ongoing construction of the Cavitex–CALAX Link Expressway (CCLink), the province’s first elevated expressway, reveal significant progress along the route.
Construction is advancing in the Gahak and Zeus areas, with girders nearing the Cavitex Kawit Toll Plaza.

On the opposite end, work continues toward connecting the expressway to the CALAX Kawit Interchange, with further expansion underway toward interchanges at Open Canal and Governor’s Drive.
Visible in the surrounding area are ongoing developments including the Ayala Malls Evo City and its emerging commercial district.
While the project has led to traffic congestion and disruptions for motorists, officials say the expressway is expected to ease travel, strengthen regional connectivity, and stimulate local economic growth by improving access to commercial areas, driving real estate development, and attracting new investments in retail, business, and tourism.
