NAIC, Cavite — Authorities recovered an estimated 30 kilograms of suspected shabu worth PHP204 million early Friday in a vacant lot inside Pasinaya Homes Central in Barangay Sabang, Naic, Cavite.

According to Naic police, a security guard discovered an abandoned green luggage past 2:10 a.m. along Friendship Road and reported it to authorities.

Inside the suitcase were 30 heat-sealed packs believed to contain the illegal substance.

Photos released by police show large bricks of suspected shabu packed tightly inside the luggage.

Initial investigation suggests the contraband may have been deliberately dropped off in the area, possibly for pickup.

Authorities also found three active surveillance cameras pointed at the luggage, indicating the site was being monitored.

Police are investigating who left the drugs and whether the incident is connected to a larger drug network operating in Calabarzon.
