BACOOR CITY, Cavite — Authorities arrested two suspected high-value drug dealers and seized approximately 1,000 grams of suspected methamphetamine, locally known as shabu, worth 6.8 million pesos during a buy-bust operation at a mall parking lot in Barangay Molino IV on Saturday.
The joint operation between the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 4A Special Enforcement Team 1 and the Philippine National Police Cavite Maritime Police Station took place at 11:30 a.m. on June 14, 2025.
Police identified the suspects as alias Khalil, 30, a farmer, and alias Jamal, 19, unemployed. Both are residents of Quezon City.
Operatives also recovered buy-bust money during the operation.
The suspects face charges for violating Section 5 in relation to Section 26 paragraph b (Attempt/Conspiracy to Sell Dangerous Drugs) Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
