CAVITE CITY — Cavite City has received an Ideal Functionality rating from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) for the performance of its Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC), officials announced.
The recognition proves the city’s efforts to uphold the rights and welfare of children through well-implemented, child-centered programs and policies.
According to the local government, the award also reflects the strong collaboration among LCPC members and partner organizations.
City officials thanked the council and partner agencies for their commitment to advancing programs that support and protect the youth.
“This achievement strengthens our resolve to create a community where children are safe, valued and given the opportunity to thrive,” the city government said in a statement.
