DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite — Police authorities are investigating the death of a teenage girl whose body was discovered under a bridge in Dasmariñas City, Cavite on Monday night.
The victim, identified only by the alias “Jean,” was a student and resident of Barangay Fatima.
Authorities said her body was already decomposing and her face was badly disfigured, making identification difficult.
Police have arrested a suspect known by the alias “Christian,” who has prior charges including alarms and scandals, disobedience, and violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165).
The investigation is ongoing.
