Revilla Vows to Push Pro-People Bills as 19th Congress Resumes Final Sessions

MANILA — Cavite 1st District Rep. Jolo Revilla reaffirmed his commitment to passing legislation that promotes the welfare of ordinary Filipinos as the House of Representatives resumed session this week for the final two weeks of the 19th Congress.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Revilla said lawmakers will make the most of the remaining session days to push for bills that advance the rights and well-being of all Filipinos, especially those from underserved communities.

“As Congress resumes, we will continue to work on passing bills that truly promote the rights and well-being of every Filipino — especially those at the fringes of society,” Revilla said in Filipino.

He also expressed continued trust and support for the leadership of House Speaker Martin Romualdez and fellow lawmakers in the Lower House, praising their unified efforts in pushing for national progress.

“We have shown that when we are united in the goal of improving our country, we can overcome any challenge,” he added.

While the 19th Congress is nearing its conclusion, Revilla said this marks the beginning of a new chapter in the country’s journey toward meaningful reform.

The House is expected to deliberate on priority measures during the final session weeks, including legislation on economic recovery, healthcare, and social protection.
