CAVITE CITY — A new university is set to open in Cavite City for the school year 2025–2026, following the completion of a new campus building.

Formerly known as Cavite City College, the institution will now officially operate as Cavite City University.

The school is a product of collaboration between the Cavite City local government and Cavite State University – Cavite City Campus.

Tuition will be free for local students, providing greater access to higher education for the youth of Cavite City.

Initially, the university will offer degree programs in Education and Business Management, with plans to expand to Medical Technology and Nursing in the coming years.

The campus is located in Sea Breeze, Barangay 28, adjacent to the newly constructed Cavite City Public Hospital.

City officials hailed the development as a major step forward in providing quality, citizen-focused education programs through effective local leadership.
